ततः प्रवृष्टस् तत्रासीद् यथापूर्वं सुरारिहा ॥
तस्मिन् नृपतिशार्दूले प्रविष्टे नगरं पुनः ॥
ततः सराष्ट्रं मुमुदे तत् पुरं परया मुदा ॥
तेन पार्थिवमुख्येन भावितं भावितात्मना ॥

Here the king's return to duty restores life to the land. It is significant that rain falls at once with the ruler's arrival: where righteous order is restored, nature too revives. Here is the truth that prosperity descends in the wake of dharma: the king's fulfillment of his duty brings heaven's blessing down upon the earth. It is significant, too, that the king is called "self-aware" — having passed through trial, he has come to understanding. Thus the scripture shows that the correction of a ruler's path heals the kingdom; and the people's joy proclaims the triumph of restored rajadharma.
