सहायैर् अल्पकैः शूरः प्रययौ येन सागरम् ॥

Here the pilgrim continues on, even in small company. It is significant that, left with few companions, Arjuna does not abandon his pilgrimage: zeal for holy places does not depend on retinue. The spiritual path is walked even alone, without loss of diligence. Thus scripture shows Arjuna's steadfastness; and he moves on toward the shrines of the sea.
