‘“Yoke the chariots quickly! Bring the spears!” — and precious bows, and great suits of armor; some shouted to the charioteers, “Yoke the chariots!”, while others themselves led out horses adorned with gold; as chariots, armor, and banners were being brought up, there was then great confusion amid the war-cry of the heroic men.’

Here hasty anger is ready to plunge them into fratricidal strife. The confusion is significant: barely having heard, the Yadavas rush to fight against a friend and kinsman by marriage. This shows how thoughtless fury drives men toward a ruinous war with their own kin. Thus the scripture reveals the danger of hasty anger; and only the intervention of the wise will avert disaster.
