Here the hero, equipped from above, stands ready for the task. It is significant that only upon obtaining the wondrous instruments does Arjuna 'become ready': a great undertaking requires worthy means, granted from above. Instrument and hand meet in their hour by the will of Providence. Thus the scripture reveals Arjuna's readiness; and joyfully he enters into Agni's cause.
