In his concerns for the sacrifice, the king cares first of all for the feeding of the brahmins — food that is "delightful, pleasing." It is telling that the greatest of rites does not neglect the small: the flavor and fragrance of the food, the comfort of the guests. Hospitality toward the Lord's servants is part of the sacrifice itself, not an addition to it. The verse teaches that piety is not detached from attentiveness to one's neighbor: feeding the brahmins who have come, to satiety and with love, is as pleasing as the oblation poured into the fire. Where the sacrifice is genuine, care for people is complete as well; service to God and service to His servants are inseparable.
