वृतं सदस्यैर् बहुभिर् धर्मराजं युधिष्ठिरम् ॥
तत् सदः पार्थिवैः कीर्णं ब्राह्मणैश् च महात्मभिः ॥
भ्राजते स्म तदा राजन् नाकपृष्ठम् इवामरैः ॥

译文
Having rested, those kings then beheld the giver of abundant gifts, Dharmaraja Yudhishthira, surrounded by many sadasyas. That assembly, filled with kings and brahmins great of soul, shone then, O king, like the vault of heaven filled with the immortals.

The assembly is likened to 'the vault of heaven with the immortals': the earthly celebration of dharma presents an image of the celestial. It is notable that Yudhishthira's glory lies not in luxury but in the company of the wise: he shines amid the sadasyas and brahmins as the sky shines amid the stars. The verse teaches that a ruler's true greatness lies in the company of the righteous around him, not merely in the splendor of wealth; and an assembly where the learned and the pious gather itself becomes a likeness of heaven on earth. Where righteousness stands at the center, there even an earthly place shines with heavenly light.
