译文

Because they never paid homage to their elders, because they are blinded by prosperity and pride, and also by the arrogance of youth and by anger, they will never accept the good counsel you might offer them. He has gathered a mighty force, O Madhava, and harbors suspicions toward you. Therefore he will never submit to any counsel you may propose. The sons of Dhritarashtra, O Janardana, are emboldened by the firm conviction that at present even Indra himself, at the head of all the gods, is unable to defeat them in battle.
