译文

"Hard indeed is it to find a gap in the king's formation of immeasurable might, like the belly of the ocean, guarded on every side by standing atirathas. Satyaki and Abhimanyu, Dhrishtadyumna and Vrikodara, and the twins protect the king, the lord of men. Here comes one dark as Upendra, risen up like a great sala tree; he advances through the armies like a second Phalguna. Take up the finest weapons, raise yet another great bow, approach the king from the flank, and fight with Vrikodara. For who would not wish his beloved son to live for eternal years? Yet, setting the kshatriya's dharma before all else, I therefore send you forth. And here, too, Bhishma in battle burns up the great army, my son, resembling in combat Yama and Varuna."
