ततः कृष्णः स्मितं कृत्वा परिणन्द्य शिवेन तम् ॥
प्रावेशयत दुर्धर्षो यत्र यत्रैच्छद् अर्जुनः ॥
बभ्राजे स रथो ऽत्यर्थम् उह्यमानो रणे तदा ॥
उह्यमानम् इवाकाशे विमानं पाण्डुरैर् हयैः ॥
मण्डलानि ततश् चक्रे गतप्रत्यागतानि च ॥
यथा शक्ररथो राजन् युद्धे देवासुरे पुरा ॥

Then Krishna, smiling and sending him off with a kind and auspicious word, unconquerable, drove him wherever Arjuna wished. That chariot blazed dazzlingly, swept across the battlefield, as though a vimana sailing through the heavens on snow-white horses. Then it traced circles — charging and withdrawing — like the chariot of Indra, O king, in the ancient war of gods against asuras.
