译文

White, black-maned, swift as thought, obedient to the charioteer, O sovereign, carried that prince Prativindhya. And Sutasoma, whom Partha entreated through Dhaumya to have as a son, was carried in battle by horses the color of the masha flower. Like a thousand moons, he was born in the city of the Kurus called Udayendu; born there, amid the somayajna, for this reason he was named Sutasoma.
