译文
"By Drona, Krishna, this design was instilled in the son of Dhritarashtra; this donning of armor is what is ordained at the close of the science of weapons. In it, Krishna, in this mail, even the three worlds are concealed; for Drona alone knows this, and I learned it from that most excellent one."

The secret of the armor — "ante vihitam astrāṇām", the crown of the whole science of weapons: knowledge kept for the last and for the few. "Trailokyam api varmaṇi" — the three worlds seem hidden within it, for the mantra holds the immeasurable. It is significant that even hidden knowledge descends through a line of teachers: Arjuna received it "tasmāt sattamāt", from the most worthy. The verse teaches that the highest protection lies not in metal but in knowledge, handed down from teacher to disciple.
