तां तु शक्तिं तदा घोरां तव पुत्रस्य सात्यकिः ॥
चिच्छेद शतधा राजन् निशितैः कङ्कपत्रिभिः ॥

译文
Then Duhshasana, enraged, hurled an all-iron spear at the departing hero of the Vrishnis, wishing to kill him. But that terrible spear of your son, Satyaki cut into a hundred pieces, O king, with sharp arrows fletched with heron feathers.

The spear, thrown at the back of the departing man, is cut to shreds: a treacherous blow does not reach the one under protection. It is notable that Duhshasana aims at the back -- an image of the wicked striking from behind. The verse teaches that a blow struck in malice at the back of one who is leaving is futile before one shielded by truth: the treachery of the unjust shatters, like a spear into a hundred fragments, and never reaches the one whom dharma protects.
