कविं पुराणमनुशासितार-
मणोरणीयांसमनुस्मरेद्यः ।
सर्वस्य धातारमचिन्त्यरूप-
मादित्यवर्णं तमसः परस्तात् ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaviṁ purāṇam anuśāsitāram
aṇor aṇīyāṁsam anusmared yaḥ |
sarvasya dhātāram acintya-rūpam
āditya-varṇaṁ tamasaḥ parastāt ||

अणोः अणीयांसम्aṇoḥ aṇīyāṁsamthe one who is smaller (aṇīyāṁsam) than the smallest (aṇoḥ), smaller than an atom.
अनुस्मरेत् यःanusmaret yaḥhe who constantly remembers.
सर्वस्य धातारम्sarvasya dhātāramthe sustainer (dhātāram) of everything (sarvasya).
अचिन्त्यरूपम्acintya-rūpamthe one whose form (rūpam) is inconceivable (acintya).
आदित्यवर्णम्āditya-varṇamthe one whose color (varṇam) is like the sun (āditya).
तमसः परस्तात्tamasaḥ parastātthe one who is beyond (parastāt) darkness (tamasaḥ).
Translation
“One should constantly meditate on Him as the omniscient, most ancient, supreme Person, who is smaller than the smallest, yet sustains everything; whose form is inconceivable and who shines like the sun, being beyond the material darkness.”
