Translation

"There is no archer equal to Arjuna, and no warrior with the mace equal to me. But battles are won by steadfastness, not by size and not by impulse alone. For the sake of a greater gain one gives up a lesser, as seed is given up for the sake of the harvest; for the sake of a great dharma, a small one may be set aside. The wise split an enemy rich in friends by turning his friends against him, and then bring the weakened man under their power. Even a strong one can be killed by the weak united, as a honey-thief is killed by bees. Be like the sun: it both nourishes with its rays and consumes. The protection of the earth according to the rule is the ancient austerity of kings. The world already says: if one such as you suffers, then even the sun may lose its light."
