भीम उवाच
पाण्डवो भीमसेनो ऽहं धर्मपुत्राद् अनन्तरः ॥
विशालां बदरीं प्राप्तो भ्रातृभिः सह राक्षसाः ॥
अपश्यत् तत्र पञ्चाली सौगन्धिकम् अनुत्तमम् ॥
अनिलोढम् इतो नूनं सा बहूनि परीप्सति ॥
तस्या माम् अनवद्याङ्ग्या धर्मपत्न्याः प्रिये स्थितम् ॥
पुष्पाहारम् इह प्राप्तं निबोधत निशाचराः ॥
bhīma uvāca
pāṇḍavo bhīmaseno 'haṃ dharmaputrād anantaraḥ ||
viśālāṃ badarīṃ prāpto bhrātṛbhiḥ saha rākṣasāḥ ||
apaśyat tatra pañcālī saugandhikam anuttamam ||
aniloḍham ito nūnaṃ sā bahūni parīpsati ||
tasyā mām anavadyāṅgyā dharmapatnyāḥ priye sthitam ||
puṣpāhāram iha prāptaṃ nibodhata niśācarāḥ ||
Bhima said: 'I am a Pandava, Bhimasena, son of Pandu and Vayu. One of these saugandhika flowers was carried by the wind to Draupadi; seeing it, she desired flowers like it. For her sake I have come here, and I wish to take the lotuses.'
