ततस् ताव् आगतौ शर्वः प्रोवाच प्रहसन्न् इव ॥
स्वातं वां श्रेष्ठाव् त्तिष्ठेतां क्लमौ
किं वाम् प्सितं वीरौ सः क्षिप्रम् च्यताम्
ये कार्ये संप्राप्तौ युवां तत् सायामि वाम्
व्रिताम् त्मनः श्रेयस् तत् र्वं प्रदानि वाम्

tatas tāv āgatau śarvaḥ provāca prahasann iva ||
svāgataṃ vāṃ naraśreṣṭhāv uttiṣṭhetāṃ gataklamau ||
kiṃ ca m īpsitaṃ rau manasaḥ kṣipram ucyatām ||
yena ryeṇa saṃprāptau yuvāṃ tat sādhami vām ||
vriyam ātmanaḥ śreyas tat sarvaṃ pradani vām ||

Translation

Then Sharva spoke to the two who had come, as if smiling: "Welcome to you, best of men! Rise, your weariness has passed. Whatever purpose has brought you here, that I shall accomplish for you; ask for your own good -- all that I shall grant to you."
