रथस्थितः क्रोशमात्रे यान् अस्यत्य् अर्जुनः शरान् ॥
रथे क्रोशम् अतिक्रान्ते तस्य ते घ्नन्ति शात्रवान् ॥
तार्क्ष्यमारुतरंहोभिर् वाजिभिः साधुवाहिभिः ॥
तथागच्छद् धृषीकेशः कृत्स्नं विस्मापयञ् जगत् ॥

rathasthitaḥ krośamātre yān asyaty arjunaḥ śarān ||
rathe krośam atikrānte tasya te ghnanti śātravān ||
tārkṣyamārutaraṃhobhir vājibhiḥ sādhuvāhibhiḥ ||
tathāgacchad dhṛṣīkeśaḥ kṛtsnaṃ vismāpayañ jagat ||

Translation

Standing on his chariot, whatever arrows Arjuna loosed at the distance of a krosha — by the time the chariot had passed that krosha, those arrows struck down the enemies. With horses swift as Garuda and the wind, running well, Hrishikesha drove on thus, astonishing the whole world.
