तयोः सेनाम् अतिक्रम्य कृच्छ्रान् निर्याद् धनंजयः ॥
विबभौ जलदान् भित्त्वा दिवाकर इवोदितः ॥
तं दृष्ट्वा कुरवस् त्रस्ताः प्रहृष्टाश् चाभवन् पुनः ॥
अभ्यवर्षंस् तदा पार्थं समन्ताद् भरतर्षभ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tayoḥ senām atikramya kṛcchrān niryād dhanaṃjayaḥ ||
vibabhau jaladān bhittvā divākara ivoditaḥ ||
taṃ dṛṣṭvā kuravas trastāḥ prahṛṣṭāś cābhavan punaḥ ||
abhyavarṣaṃs tadā pārthaṃ samantād bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

Having crossed their army, Dhananjaya emerged with difficulty, and shone, breaking through the clouds, like the risen sun. Seeing him, the Kauravas, frightened yet glad once more, showered Partha from every side, O bull of the Bharatas.
