अभिद्रवत गृह्णीत हयान् द्रोणस्य धावत ॥
इति स्म चुक्रुशुः सर्वे राजपुत्राः सराजकाः ॥
ते सात्यकिम् अपास्याशु राजन् युधि महारथाः ॥
यतो द्रोणस् ततः सर्वे सहसा समुपाद्रवन् ॥
तान् दृष्ट्वा प्रद्रुतान् सर्वान् सात्वतेन शरार्दितान् ॥
प्रभग्नं पुनर् एवासीत् तव सैन्यं समाकुलम् ॥

abhidravata gṛhṇīta hayān droṇasya dhāvata ||
iti sma cukruśuḥ sarve rājaputrāḥ sarājakāḥ ||
te sātyakim apāsyāśu rājan yudhi mahārathāḥ ||
yato droṇas tataḥ sarve sahasā samupādravan ||
tān dṛṣṭvā pradrutān sarvān sātvatena śarārditān ||
prabhagnaṃ punar evāsīt tava sainyaṃ samākulam ||

Translation

"Charge, seize Drona's horses, run to them!" — so cried out all the princes together with the king. Swiftly abandoning Satyaki, O king, in the battle, the great warriors rushed wherever Drona was. Seeing them all fleeing, tormented by Satvata's arrows, your army, in confusion, was broken once more.
