हृद्गतं मनसा प्राह ध्यात्वा धर्मभृतां वरः ॥
दत्ता भीम त्वया संवित् कृतं गुरुवचस् तथा ॥
न हि तेषां जयो युद्धे येषां द्वेष्टासि पाण्डव ॥
दिष्ट्या जीवति संग्रामे सव्यसाची धनंजयः ॥
दिष्ट्या च कुशली वीरः सात्यकिः सत्यविक्रमः ॥
दिष्ट्या शृणोमि गर्जन्तौ वासुदेवधनंजयौ ॥

hṛdgataṃ manasā prāha dhyātvā dharmabhṛtāṃ varaḥ ||
dattā bhīma tvayā saṃvit kṛtaṃ guruvacas tathā ||
na hi teṣāṃ jayo yuddhe yeṣāṃ dveṣṭāsi pāṇḍava ||
diṣṭyā jīvati saṃgrāme savyasācī dhanaṃjayaḥ ||
diṣṭyā ca kuśalī vīraḥ sātyakiḥ satyavikramaḥ ||
diṣṭyā śṛṇomi garjantau vāsudevadhanaṃjayau ||

Translation

"The signal has been given by you, Bhima; the elder's word is fulfilled. For there is no victory in battle for those whose enemy you are, son of Pandu. By good fortune, Savyasachin Dhananjaya lives in the battle; and by good fortune the hero Satyaki, truly valorous, is unharmed; by good fortune I hear Vasudeva and Dhananjaya roaring."
