आददानं महेष्वासं संदधानं च पाण्डवम् ॥
विसृजन्तं च कौन्तेयं नानुपश्यामहे तदा ॥
तथा सर्वा दिशो राजन् सर्वांश् च रथिनो रणे ॥
आकुलीकृत्य कौन्तेयो जयद्रथम् उपाद्रवत् ॥
विव्याध च चतुःषष्ट्या शराणां नतपर्वणाम् ॥

ādadānaṃ maheṣvāsaṃ saṃdadhānaṃ ca pāṇḍavam ||
visṛjantaṃ ca kaunteyaṃ nānupaśyāmahe tadā ||
tathā sarvā diśo rājan sarvāṃś ca rathino raṇe ||
ākulīkṛtya kaunteyo jayadratham upādravat ||
vivyādha ca catuḥṣaṣṭyā śarāṇāṃ nataparvaṇām ||

Translation

Taking [arrows], fitting [them], the Pandava, and hurling [them], the Kaunteya — we could not then distinguish [these separate moments]. Thus, having thrown into confusion all directions, O king, and all warriors in the battle, the Kaunteya rushed upon Jayadratha.
