Here a confirmed surmise is crowned with honor. It is telling that Drupada and Dhrishtadyumna, upon confirming the kshatriya nature of their guests, at once honor them as "sons and grandsons of kings": a truth once revealed earns the honor it deserves. Here is joy that what was hoped for has come true: the test only confirmed the heart's own expectation. So the scripture shows the triumph of recognition, and the honor paid to the Pandavas foreshadows their full disclosure.
