Here even amusements are savored in the Lord's company. Arjuna both feasts and watches the performances "together with Vasudeva": the devotee's joy lies in being with the Lord, whatever he is doing. It is also notable that he honored the performers as he dismissed them: the noble give their due even to those who serve. Closeness to the Lord sanctifies leisure itself. So the verse shows the bliss of Arjuna's fellowship with Krishna.
