भोजवृष्ण्यन्धकानां च समवायो महान् अभूत् ॥

भोजवृष्ण्यन्धकानां च समवायः महान् अभूत्bhojavṛṣṇyandhakānāṃ ca samavāyaḥ mahān abhūtand a great gathering of the Bhojas, Vrishnis and Andhakas came about;

Here the people of the Lord's city long to behold His friend. The residents of Dvaraka flock by the hundreds of thousands to see Arjuna: one close to the Lord draws hearts to himself just as the Lord Himself does. A devotee loved by Krishna becomes dear to all who love Krishna. So the verse shows the universal eagerness for Arjuna; and the honor given him is the fruit of his friendship with the Lord.
