विरजोम्बरश् चित्रमाल्यो ह्रीकीर्तिद्युतिभिः सह ॥

Here beside Indra appear not only his consort and the goddesses of fortune, but also Modesty, Glory and Splendor — as living companions. It is significant that the virtues appear personified: where dignity dwells, there modesty and glory dwell as well. Thus the scripture shows that outward majesty is inseparable from inner qualities; and next come the hosts who honor him.
