Traducción
Likewise, having abandoned the northern quarter, the Matsyas and Sannyastapadas, tormented by fear, took refuge in the southern quarter; and all the Panchalas, tormented by fear of Jarasandha, having abandoned their own kingdom, scattered in every direction.

Here fear of the tyrant scatters peoples to the corners of the earth. It is telling that tyranny breeds not a submissive peace but universal turmoil: where terror rules, there is neither calm nor order. Scripture thus shows chaos as the fruit of unrighteous power; and next comes the story of Kamsa.
