सामर्थ्यवन्तः संबन्धाद् भवन्तं समुपाश्रिताः ॥

Here Krishna says that even the Vrishnis 'by kinship took refuge' with Yudhishthira. It is telling that the Lord, who holds all power, shows the image of friendship and mutual support: even the strong seek alliance with the righteous. Thus scripture shows the worth of kinship joined to dharma; and what follows tells of Dvaraka's might.
