यद् यद् धर्मेण संयुक्तम् उपपद्येद् धितं वचः ॥
तत् तत् केशव भाषेथाः सान्त्वं वा यदि वेतरत् ॥
bhrātā cāsi sakhā cāsi bībhatsor mama ca priyaḥ ||
sauhṛdenāviśaṅkyo 'si svasti prāpnuhi bhūtaye ||
asmān vettha parān vettha vetthārthaṃ vettha bhāṣitam ||
yad yad asmaddhitaṃ kṛṣṇa tat tad vācyaḥ suyodhanaḥ ||
yad yad dharmeṇa saṃyuktam upapadyed dhitaṃ vacaḥ ||
tat tat keśava bhāṣethāḥ sāntvaṃ vā yadi vetarat ||
He makes the unreal seem real and thereby deludes all beings. Possessed of such qualities, ever devoted to righteousness and endowed with divinity, the slayer of Madhu, this mighty-armed one, incapable of decay, will come here to prevent the slaughter of the Kurus.
