नालोपयत धर्मात्मा भक्त्या प्रेम्णा च सर्वदा ॥
प्रत्युत्थाय च गोविन्दं स तस्माय् आसनं ददौ ॥
न चासने स्वयं बुद्धिं बीभत्सुर् व्यदधात् तदा ॥

Traducción
To rise and meet Krishna in every circumstance Dhananjaya, righteous in soul, never neglected — with devotion and love, always. And having risen to meet Govinda, he offered him a seat; but of a seat for himself Bibhatsu then gave no thought at all.

Even in a dream, even struck down by grief, the devotee honors the Lord: "pratyutthānaṃ… sarvāvastham na alopayata," "never omitted to rise and meet him in any circumstance," "bhaktyā premṇā ca," with devotion and love. And for himself he takes no seat. It is significant that Arjuna's reverence for God does not depend on mood or misfortune — it is constant. The verse teaches that true devotion is not interrupted by circumstance: it honors the Lord equally in joy and in grief, waking and dreaming, and places Him above one's own comfort — for love of God knows no "unsuitable hour."
