स त्वम् आतिष्ठ यानाय यत्र यातो धनंजयः ॥
ममापि रक्षणं भीमः करिष्यति महाबलः ॥
पार्षतश् च ससोदर्यः पार्थिवाश् च महाबलाः ॥
द्रौपदेयाश् च मां तात रक्षिष्यन्ति न संशयः ॥
केकया भ्रातरः पञ्च राक्षसश् च घटोत्कचः ॥
विराटो द्रुपदश् चैव शिखण्डी च महारथः ॥
धृष्टकेतुश् च बलवान् कुन्तिभोजश् च मारिष ॥
नकुलः सहदेवश् च पाञ्चालाः सृञ्जयास् तथा ॥
एते समाहितास् तात रक्षिष्यन्ति न संशयः ॥

So prepare to set out where Dhananjaya has gone; my own protection the mighty Bhima will undertake, and the son of Prishata [Dhrishtadyumna] with his brothers, and the powerful kings, and the sons of Draupadi will guard me, O worthy one, without doubt. Yudhishthira enumerates his guardians — a whole host of heroes: thus he reassures Satyaki that he will not be left unprotected. It is telling that in sending one man off to the hardest task, he relies on many. The verse teaches that wise care for a task does not place everything on a single person: entrusting one beloved to danger, the wise man safeguards those who remain with a reliable multitude, so that the one who departs may go with an easy heart, knowing that no harm threatens the one left behind.
