Traducción

That wondrous battle between the two the hosts of beings praised, and the kshatriyas, O great king, and whatever other soldiers were there. "Surely Drona, having met Dhrishtadyumna in battle, will fall into the power of our king" -- so the Panchalas cried out. But Drona, swift in the fight, struck off the head of Dhrishtadyumna's charioteer like a ripe fruit falling from a tree. When those horses fled, Drona put the Panchalas and the Srinjayas to flight in the battle, here and there, the valorous one. Having vanquished the Pandavas and Panchalas, the valiant son of Bharadvaja, taking his stand again in his own array, grew steadfast, the subduer of foes.
