प्रववुश् च शिवा वाताः प्रशान्ता मृगपक्षिणः ॥
वाहनानि च हृष्टानि योधाश् च मनुजेश्वर ॥
व्यपोढे च ततो घोरे तस्मिंस् तेजसि भारत ॥
बभौ भीमो निशापाये धीमान् सूर्य इवोदितः ॥
हतशेषं बलं तत्र पाण्डवानाम् अतिष्ठत ॥
अस्त्रव्युपरमाद् धृष्टं तव पुत्रजिघांसया ॥
pravavuś ca śivā vātāḥ praśāntā mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ ||
vāhanāni ca hṛṣṭāni yodhāś ca manujeśvara ||
vyapoḍhe ca tato ghore tasmiṃs tejasi bhārata ||
babhau bhīmo niśāpāye dhīmān sūrya ivoditaḥ ||
hataśeṣaṃ balaṃ tatra pāṇḍavānām atiṣṭhata ||
astravyuparamād dhṛṣṭaṃ tava putrajighāṃsayā ||
And gentle winds began to blow, beasts and birds grew calm; the draft animals rejoiced, and the warriors too, O lord of men. And when that dreadful heat was removed, O Bharata, Bhima shone forth, at the end of night, the wise one, like the risen sun. There the army of the Pandavas that had survived destruction stood, having revived at the ceasing of the weapon, eager to kill your son [Duryodhana].

With the pacifying of the weapon the harmony of the world returns -- winds, beasts, people; and Bhima, saved, shines like the rising sun. It is telling that the revived army at once thirsts for battle again: the danger has scarcely passed before the passion for strife flares up anew. The verse teaches that a peace restored from outside does not last if enmity within has not subsided; and a person barely saved easily returns to what destroys him -- so true pacification must take place in the heart.
