Traducción

"Thus were these boons obtained of old, know, by Shauri [Krishna]; this very god moves by maya, deluding [bewildering] the world. And the one born of that same austerity, named Nara, the great sage, equal to this god [Narayana] — know him always [as] Arjuna. These two are, among the ancient gods, the highest, sages grown to greatness; for the ordering of the world's course they are born from age to age. Likewise, from the whole of great action and from austerity, [as] the fiery wrath [of Rudra], O knowing one, you were born — raudra, [sprung] from Rudra, O wise one."
