That illustrious great asura renowned as Vrishaparvan became, renowned as Dirghaprajna, a king on earth. Ajaka, the younger brother of Vrishaparvan, O king, became, renowned as Malla, a king on earth. He who is renowned as the great asura Ashvagriva, mighty, became, renowned as Rochamana, a king on earth. The wise Sukshma, O king, who is renowned as illustrious, became, renowned as Brihanta, a king on earth. He who is renowned as the best of the asuras, named Tuhunda, became, renowned as Senabindu, a lord of men. He among the asuras who was stronger than the rest, named Isripa, was a king named Papajit, renowned for valor on earth. He who is renowned as the great asura Ekachakra became, renowned on earth, Prativindhya. Virupaksha, the daitya skilled in manifold combat, a great asura, became, renowned as Chitravarman, a king on earth. That hero who was the best of the danavas, Hara, the destroyer of enemies, was born, renowned as Suvastu, a bull among men. Ahara, greatly radiant, the destroyer of the enemy host, became the renowned king on earth named Bahlika. Nichandra, moon-faced, who was the best of the asuras, became, renowned as Munjakesha, a king. Nikumbha, unconquered in battle, greatly wise, was born on earth as the foremost king, and is remembered as Devadhipa. He among the daityas named Sharabha, a great asura, became here among men a royal sage named Paurava. And the second [demon] who was among the asuras, Shalabha, became the lord of men named Prahlada of the Bahlika race. Chandra, the best of the sons of Diti, resembling in the world the lord of the stars, became the royal sage named Rishika, the foremost of kings.’
