अनुवाद

Then, in the season after her courses, Satyavati summoned to him her eldest daughter-in-law, Ambika; but recalling the great sage's appearance and smell, she, out of fear, did not do as the queen bade — she who was like a daughter of the gods. Then the daughter of the king of Kashi, having adorned a maidservant resembling an apsaras with her own ornaments, sent her to Krishna. The maidservant, when the sage arrived, met him and greeted him, and with his leave lay with him, having honored and served him. Through their union the sage was well pleased with her; the great sage spent the night with her as she attended upon him with delight. Rising, he said to her: 'You will no longer be a slave; and this blessed fruit that has entered your womb, O fair one, will be a righteous man in the world, the best of all the wise.'
