प्रेष्यतां द्रुपदायाशु नरः कश् चित् प्रियंवदः ॥
बहुलं रत्नम् आदाय तेषाम् अर्थाय भारत ॥
मिथः कृत्यं च तस्मै स आदाय बहु गच्छतु ॥
वृद्धिं च परमां ब्रूयात् तत्संयोगोद्भवां तथा ॥

प्रेष्यतां द्रुपदाय आशु नरः कः चित् प्रियंवदःpreṣyatāṃ drupadāya āśu naraḥ kaḥ cit priyaṃvadaḥLet some sweet-spoken man be sent to Drupada at once,
बहुलं रत्नम् आदाय तेषाम् अर्थाय भारतbahulaṃ ratnam ādāya teṣām arthāya bhāratataking abundant jewels for their sake [the Pandavas' sake], O Bharata;
मिथः कृत्यं च तस्मै सः आदाय बहु गच्छतुmithaḥ kṛtyaṃ ca tasmai saḥ ādāya bahu gacchatuand let him go, bearing to him [Drupada] an ample offer of mutual union;
