देवनागरी
तस्यां सभायाम् आसीनाः सुव्रताः सत्यसंगराः ॥
दिवीव देवा ब्रह्माणं युधिष्ठिरम् उपासते ॥

Vaishampayana said: "Those seated in that hall, devoted to their vows and true to their word, honor Yudhishthira as the gods in heaven honor Brahma."

Here the image of the assembly culminates in the likeness of the righteous king to Brahma amid the gods. It is significant that the honor shown to Yudhishthira is not for strength or wealth but for faithfulness to dharma: around the righteous, an abode of order naturally forms, resembling the heavenly one. Thus the scripture shows the summit of the Pandavas' glory; and next the sage Narada will enter this hall, whose questions will reveal wherein the king's true righteousness lies.
