एवम् उक्तः पाण्डवेन नारदः प्रत्युवाच तम् ॥
क्रमेण राजन् दिव्यास् ताः श्रूयन्ताम् इह नः सभाः ॥

Narada said: "Thus asked by the Pandava, Narada answered him: 'In order, O king, let those divine halls now be heard from us.'"

Here the sage promises to narrate 'in order.' It is significant that even the celestial is told in a fitting sequence: truth is set forth in good order so that the mind may grasp it clearly. Thus the scripture shows the proper structure of instruction; and next the first of the heavenly halls is unveiled — the assembly of Indra.
