अथ अपरे सहस्राणिatha apare sahasrāṇiand others by the thousand,

Here is shown the fruit of great sacrifices: those who performed horse-sacrifices with abundant gifts attained this abode. It is significant that the generosity of sacrifice raises one to Yama as a hall of honor: what is given as sacrificial fee is not lost but ripens into a heavenly estate. Thus the scripture reveals generosity as a path to the exalted; and further come other dwellers of the hall.
