मागधानाम् सु-रुचिरम्māgadhānām su-ruciramthe beautiful
चैत्यक-अन्तम् समाद्रवन्caityaka-antam samādravantip [peak] of Chaityaka of the Magadhas they charged at,
शिरसि इव जिघांसन्तःśirasi iva jighāṃsantaḥas if wishing to strike at the very head,
