अनुवाद

Fire is a thing of immense energy in this world. It lies hidden in wood and never consumes it until kindled by others. That same fire, once it blazes up from wood through friction, swiftly consumes with its energy not only that wood but the forest and much besides. Even so, men born in a noble lineage, blazing with a splendor like fire, endowed with forbearance and giving no outward sign, lie dormant like fire in timber. You, together with your sons, possess the nature of creepers, and the sons of Pandu are reckoned as sala trees. A creeper never grows unless it clings to a great tree. O king, O son of Ambika, you together with your sons are the forest; know, dear one, that the Pandavas are the lions of that forest. Without lions the forest would perish, and the lions would perish without the forest.
