धृष्टद्युम्नस् तम् आरोप्य स्वरथे रथिनां वरः ॥
पश्यतां सर्वसैन्यानाम् अपोवाह यशस्विनम् ॥

धृष्टद्युम्नं परिष्वज्य समेयाद् अथ सात्यकिम् ॥

रथाद् रथम् अभिद्रुत्य पर्यष्वजत पाण्डवम् ॥
ततः स्वरथम् आरुह्य पुनर् एव महारथः ॥
तावकान् अवधीत् क्रुद्धो भीमस्य बलम् आदधत् ॥

evam uktvā śiner naptā dīrghabāhur ariṃdamaḥ ||
rathād ratham abhidrutya paryaṣvajata pāṇḍavam ||
tataḥ svaratham āruhya punar eva mahārathaḥ ||
tāvakān avadhīt kruddho bhīmasya balam ādadhat ||
Dhrishtadyumna, best of chariot-warriors, lifted Bhima onto his own chariot and carried the glorious hero away before the eyes of all the armies. Honored by the Panchalas and the Matsyas, O bull among the Bharatas, Bhima embraced Dhrishtadyumna and then came to Satyaki. Then Satyaki of true valor, that tiger of the Yadus, gladdening Bhimasena in the sight of Dhrishtadyumna, said: "By good fortune, the king of Kalinga, the prince Ketuman, Shakradeva of Kalinga, and the Kalingas themselves have fallen in this battle. By the strength and valor of your own arms, you alone have crushed the great array of the Kalingas, thronged with elephants, horses, and chariots." Having spoken thus, the long-armed grandson of Shini, tamer of foes, leapt from his own chariot to Bhima's and embraced the son of Pandu. Then, mounting his own chariot once more, that great chariot-warrior, in his fury, fell upon your men, lending strength to Bhima.
