"Why does my heart tremble so, O Keshava, and my speech falter? My body twitches ominously and sinks, O Achyuta. An ill foreboding, clinging to me, will not leave my heart; and on earth, and in every quarter, dire portents affright me — appearing of every kind, all foretelling calamity. Is all well with the king, my elder, and his counselors?"
