निहत्य सैन्धवं जिष्णुर् अद्य त्वाम् उपयास्यति ॥
विशोको विज्वरो राजन् भव भूतिपुरस्कृतः ॥

अनुवाद
"Having slain the Sindhu king, Jishnu will return to you this very day. Be without grief, without anxiety, O king, and full of well-being."

The chapter closes with a promise of return: "nihatya saindhavaṃ jiṣṇuḥ adya tvām upayāsyati", "having slain the Sindhu king, the victorious one will return to you today." And a charge to the king: "viśokaḥ vijvaraḥ... bhava", "be without grief, without anxiety." It is significant that the prayer, which began with surrender to the Lord, is crowned by His word of peace. The verse teaches that one who has entrusted his cause to God may rightly lay down anxiety: having received the Lord's promise, the devotee should no longer be tormented but abide, "viśokaḥ vijvaraḥ", without grief or fever, in the grace-filled peace of trust.
