tataḥ śabdo mahān āsīd yuyudhānarathaṃ prati ||
prakampyamānā mahatī tava putrasya vāhinī ||

tasyāṃ vidīryamāṇāyāṃ śineḥ pautro mahārathaḥ ||
sapta vīrān maheṣvāsān agrānīke vyapothayat ||

Satyaki alone splits an entire army "śatadhā", into a hundred parts: where strength rests on truth and love, one man overcomes a multitude. It is telling that his fearsomeness comes not from ferocity but from direction -- he presses toward a friend. The verse teaches that a drive sanctified by duty makes strength unconquerable: one moved by love and by a righteous man's command cuts through obstacles before which even a great army would falter.
