योः रैर् हारा संद्भिः न्ततः
भू सैन्यानां संक्षोभः सारोमः
भीचाच्युतैर् बाणैस् सैन्यम् रिं
ध्य मूध्ये घोरैर् शीविषोमैः
वाणैः तितै राजन् वाजिभिश् रैः
दृश्य ही कीर्णा वानुन्नैर् द्रुमैर्

अनुवाद

By the arrows of those two, O great king, flying in from every side, there arose among your armies a turmoil like the ocean. By arrows loosed from Bhima's bow, terrible, like venomous vipers, your army, O tamer of foes, was being destroyed in the midst of the host. With fallen elephants, O king, and with horses, together with men, the earth appeared strewn, as if by trees felled by the wind.
