ते वध्यमानाः समरे भीमचापच्युतैः शरैः ॥
प्राद्रवंस् तावका योधाः किम् एतद् इति चाब्रुवन् ॥
ततो व्युदस्तं तत् सैन्यं सिन्धुसौवीरकौरवम् ॥
प्रोत्सारितं महावेगैः कर्णपाण्डवयोः शरैः ॥
ते शरातुरभूयिष्ठा हताश्वनरवाहनाः ॥
उत्सृज्य कर्णं भीमं च प्राद्रवन् सर्वतोदिशम् ॥

te śarāturabhūyiṣṭhā hatāśvanaravāhanāḥ ||
utsṛjya karṇaṃ bhīmaṃ ca prādravan sarvatodiśam ||

अनुवाद

They, being slain in the battle by arrows loosed from Bhima's bow, fled -- your warriors -- crying, "What is this?" Then that army of the Sindhus, Sauviras, and Kauravas was scattered, driven off by the swift arrows of Karna and the Pandava. Sorely afflicted by arrows, with their horses, men, and mounts slain, abandoning Karna and Bhima, they fled in every direction.
