अनुवाद

Having heard this speech, licking the corners of his mouth, [taking up] the arrow with a touch like Indra's thunderbolt, consecrated with divine mantras, ever enduring, honored with incense and garlands — Arjuna, resolved on the slaying of Saindhava, shot it swiftly. It, released from the Gandiva, that arrow, swift as a hawk, carried off the head of Saindhava, as a hawk carries off a bird from the treetop.
