अनुवाद

In all the hosts others [carried fires] at the sides, behind, in front, and all around; others likewise in the middle, with blazing fire in hand -- in both armies men moved about. In all the hosts the companies of foot, intermingled with throngs of elephants, chariots, and horses, and others in the middle, with blazing fire in hand, illumined the host of the son of Pandu. By that blazing host was thus kindled that mighty force -- by force in turn -- like fire scorched by the sun, the light-making, radiant orb. The radiances of those two, surpassing the earth, the sky, and all the quarters, grew; by that light, exceedingly bright, became both theirs and yours -- indeed, the army.
