«In the tenth abode — …this is the vidyā of Paramaśiva; in the eleventh abode — …having recited the king of the summit of power of Lopāmudrā, — the Vaishnava vidyā — in the twelfth abode, so it is explained».

The listing of the twelve is complete, and it is completed with the Vaishnava vidyā. The order turns out thus: the first — Lopāmudrā's; the eleventh — Paramaśiva's; the last — Vaishnava. There is no need to press hard on this, for the order in such lists is not always precedence. But it is worth noting: in a Śākta book listing twelve traditions, the Vaishnava one is named last, and in a list that includes Śiva, Skanda, Kubera, and Manu, it stands after all of them.
More than this does not follow. What follows only is that this is already the third time in this book that the name of Viṣṇu stands where one would not expect it from a Śākta composition: the form from which the Goddess emerged (1); the summit of the mantra (19); and now the last of the twelve vidyās. The number twelve in Vedic counting is a number of fullness by cycle — twelve months, twelve Ādityas, twelve finger-widths of the out-breath. A list of twelve, therefore, means not «twelve out of many», but all: it is said there are exactly this many traditions and no more.
